Animal enthusiasts in Kingsport, Tennessee, have an exciting event to look forward to. Petworks Animal Services announced they will host their annual Fur Ball on Friday, April 5. The gala will be held at the MeadowView Convention and Conference Center in Kingsport, promising a night of entertainment and philanthropy.
Tickets for the event are priced at $125 per person. Interested parties can also support the fundraiser through a variety of sponsorships. The proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships will directly support the annual operations of Petworks. To secure your spot, you can order tickets or view sponsor opportunities on the Petworks website.
The 2024 Fur Ball is themed “Through the Looking Glass.” The event will commence with a Silent Auction Cocktail Reception, followed by a seated dinner with action stations. The Firecracker Jazz Band from Asheville, North Carolina, has also been listed as the evening’s headliner who will be presenting a Roaring ‘20s array of musical entertainment.
Petworks mascots Joey Olaf and Benz have also extended an invitation to attendees. The Silent Auction Cocktail Reception kicks off at 5:30 p.m., with dinner and entertainment beginning promptly at 7 p.m. Organizers have suggested a “sparkly casual” dress code for attendees.
Petworks Animal Services has been a pillar in the Kingsport community for years, providing shelter, care, and re-homing opportunities for adoptable animals. In addition to these services, Petworks also serves as Animal Control for Kingsport city, ensuring the area’s animals are safely and responsibly cared for. In 2023, they assisted over 1,500 animals in receiving care and finding their forever homes.
The anticipated Fur Ball event promises to be a grand affair while promoting a cause. So, for those who want to support animal care and control services can do so by contributing as attendees or sponsors to this fundraiser. Please visit the Petworks website to order tickets, view sponsor opportunities, or donate a silent auction item.
