Kingsport-Based Business Expands with New Olive Oil Venture

In an exciting new venture, Kingsport Olive Oil Company has set up shop in the upper section of Rainbow’s End Floral, located in downtown Kingsport. The collaboration provides the community with a unique venue that offers both floral essentials and gourmet olive oils, providing a fresh twist to the business development in the heart of Kingsport.

An Exciting Collaboration

The Kingsport Olive Oil Company is managed by Kristen Hutchins, who also serves as the online coordinator for the business. The venture operates in conjunction with the Rainbow’s End Floral business owned by her parents, Ray and Patty Hutchins. The Hutchins family have had ownership of the floral business since November 2021 and are excited to expand their operations by incorporating the olive oil company.

A Soft Opening and Delightful Flavors

The Olive oil company celebrated its soft opening on February 23, unveiling over 40 different flavors of oils available for purchase. The flavors range from blueberry, honey ginger, coconut, raspberry, to lime, providing a diverse option for buyers. This variety also extends to traditional olive oils, which are not infused or fused with other flavors.

In a statement, Kristen Hutchings said that patrons visiting the shop could sample some of the unique oil flavors on ice cream, adding a gastronomic flair to the overall experience. Hutchins adds that the company is always expanding its selection with every new shipment it receives.

Impacting the Community Positively

Hutchins highlighted the significance of the new venture, stating that the act of gifting, whether it’s through floral arrangements or gourmet olive oils, creates lasting impressions and positively impacts the community. She also emphasized that the Rainbow’s End Floral venture would continue operating at the same location, even with the introduction of the olive oil company.

The business owner also spoke about the importance of promoting local businesses to help boost Kingsport’s economy. She expressed hopes for more residents to visit downtown Kingsport and experience the unique offerings provided by the local businesses. She noted that these businesses are the driving force in keeping the city’s economics afloat, making their support essential for community growth.
