New Behavioral Health Facility Opens in Bristol, Tenn.

Bristol, Tenn. — There’s good news for residents of Bristol and its surrounding areas looking for behavioral health services. Frontier Health has just opened a brand-new Behavioral Health Services venue on Volunteer Parkway, consolidating what were previously three separate locations into one comprehensive center.

The new center offers a wide range of services, making it a one-stop shop for anyone seeking help. Whether you need therapy, peer support, psychosocial rehabilitation, children’s services, medication management, or case management, Frontier Health has got you covered. According to CEO Kristie Hammonds, having all these services under one roof will make it easier for families and individuals to access the help they need.

“This new facility will greatly simplify things for the families we serve. No longer will they have to shuttle between multiple locations to get the different types of care they need. Everything is here, in one place, making it more convenient,” Hammonds explained during the opening ceremony.

The creation of this new facility was made possible through a generous infrastructure grant from the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. “When we received the infrastructure grant from the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, it was a real game-changer,” Hammonds said. “That $6 million investment allowed us to truly bring this vision to life.”

Commissioner of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Marie Williams, also spoke at the event. “Frontier is one of the best providers that you’ll find in this whole state. When we allocate funds to providers like Frontier, led by Kristie Hammonds, we know those dollars are going to be put to good use,” Williams added.

The new facility is already operational and is prepared to serve the community. Residents looking for more information about the services offered can visit the Frontier Health website.

This initiative represents a significant step forward in improving access to behavioral health services in the Bristol area. By centralizing various types of care, Frontier Health aims to eliminate the barriers that many face when seeking help. This is particularly important for those dealing with complex issues that require a combination of services.

Hammonds highlighted the importance of community support in accomplishing this milestone. “We couldn’t have done this without the support of our community and the tireless efforts of our dedicated team. This new facility is a testament to what can be achieved when we all work together towards a common goal,” she said.

The opening of this new center aligns perfectly with Bristol’s ongoing efforts to improve public health and wellness. By bringing various behavioral health services together, Frontier Health hopes to streamline care and make it easier for people to get the help they need, when they need it.

Frontier Health has a longstanding reputation for providing excellent care in the field of behavioral health. With this new facility, they’re taking their commitment to the community to the next level. “This new facility allows us to offer even better care to our patients. It’s not just about having all services in one place; it’s about creating a healing environment where people can feel supported and cared for,” Hammonds emphasized.

Residents and stakeholders are optimistic about the positive impact this new center will have on the community. “It’s a big win for everyone involved,” noted a local resident who attended the opening ceremony. “Having everything in one place is going to make a huge difference for a lot of people.”

Frontier Health’s new Behavioral Health Services venue in Bristol is now open and ready to serve the community. For those in need of assistance or looking for more information, the doors are open.
