The esteemed Milligan University Concert Choir and a capella ensemble, Heritage, are set to conclude their thrilling spring choir tour with a remarkable home concert, labelled “O Love That Will Not Let Me Go”. The concert will take place on Sunday, March 17, at 3 p.m. in the Mary B. Auditorium located inside the Seeger Chapel. The much-awaited event is absolutely free and welcomes all members of the public.
According to Dr. Noah Long, Milligan professor of music and conductor of the concert choir, the concert will put in the limelight the talents of current students, both the vocalists and instrumentalists alike, offering the audience a unique cultural experience. This musical extravaganza aims to touch the hearts of music enthusiasts with heart-warming melodies and tales of emotions delivered through music.
The concert’s collection includes the enchanting piece “Upon Your Heart” by Elaine Hagenberg, featuring the mesmerizing voice of Soprano Bethany Sooter, as well as riveting performances by the select a capella group Heritage, adding a unique flavour to the concert. Not just this, the audience will also witness solo performances by talented student vocalists such as Madison Seagrave and Megan Chesney.
