On a quest to aid those affected by disasters in the bustling city of Kingsport, Tennessee, five local restaurants have decided to become part of the commendable Dine for Disaster program. The main benefactor of this initiative? The American Red Cross of Northeast Tennessee.
Dine for Disaster aims to raise funds to support the mission of the Red Cross, which in the Northeast Tennessee region alone, has lent a helping hand to nearly 600 individuals affected by house fires and other calamities. This Thursday, participating restaurants are devoted to donating a certain percentage of their earnings to the program. Patrons of these establishments are encouraged to mention that they are part of the Dine for Disaster campaign, transforming their meal into a kind gesture of community support.
Here is the list of restaurants that are stepping up to make a difference:
Located at 2406 Memorial Blvd., Kingsport, TN 37664, Nick’s Restaurant is sure to serve up comfort food for a cause.
Situated at 534 Eastern Star Road, Kingsport, TN 37663, Phil’s Dream Pit is set to deliver a delicious meal with a side of charity.
