Holiday Magic Hits Elizabethton with Storytime with Santa Event!

Elizabethton, get ready to embrace the holiday spirit! This December, the City of Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department is rolling out the red carpet for its annual Storytime with Santa event, and the excitement is just bubbling over. Sponsored by Carter County Bank, this festive gathering promises to sprinkle some serious holiday magic into our community’s celebrations!

Mark Your Calendars!

Set your alarms for Saturday, December 21—this is going to be a day filled with laughter, joy, and all things merry! The party kicks off at the Elizabethton Recreation Center, located at 300 W. Mill St. Whether you are a child or just a kid at heart, there’s something here for everyone.

Inclusive Fun for All!

This year, the event shines with a special focus on inclusivity. Families can take advantage of a Sensory-Friendly Storytime Hour from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.. This session is thoughtfully designed to create a calmer environment for children who may benefit from a quieter setting. Enjoy storytime with Santa himself along with delightful holiday-themed activities that everyone can enjoy.

Bring On the Festivities!

Don’t worry if you’re looking for a more lively experience; from 3 to 5 p.m., the Traditional Storytime with Santa is where the real party starts. Expect to see inflatable attractions, a joyful mix of music, and of course, a special reading by Santa that will warm your heart and fill you with holiday cheer. Parents can also expect plenty of interactive activities to keep the fun rolling.

A Festive Surprise Awaits!

The best part? This fantastic event is completely free and open to the public. Families can look forward to an evening full of laughter, creativity, and connection. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season with loved ones and neighbors. So, don’t miss out! Grab your family, spread the word, and come join in the holiday fun!

Stay in the Loop!
