Elizabethton Police Seek Assistance in Stolen Tractor Case

In a disturbing case of theft, authorities in Elizabethton are working diligently to solve the mystery of a stolen Branson Model 1905 tractor. The Police Department is pleading with the public, urging anyone with information related to the stolen tractor to come forward.

Details of the Theft

The machinery was stolen from a location in the vicinity of 805 N. Lynn Ave in Elizabethton, between Tuesday, April 23, and Thursday, April 25. The tractor, which is essential for farming and construction work, vanished without a trace causing great concern among local residents. The authorities believe its disappearance could be due to the intentional actions of thieves who may have targeted the area.

In a bid to crack down on criminal activities and speed up investigations, local police are now urging communities to play their part. James Stevens, who is handling the case at the Elizabethton Police Department, is urging anyone with knowledge of the incident or who might have seen suspicious activity in the given time frame, to reach out to him directly. Moreover, to encourage people to step forward, the Elizabethton Police has also allowed for tips to be sent via text messages. The text tip line involves sending a message starting with “TIPEPD” followed by the information, to 847411.

While the police department is yet to disclose if they are offering a reward for information about the theft, they have continued to emphasize how the public’s cooperation can positively affect the progress and resolution of the case.
