Thanks to the increased traffic in downtown Elizabethton caused by the closure of the Broad Street Bridge, the location of this year’s tree lighting has seen a slight change. Instead of the usual spot at the Folsom House on E. Elk Avenue, the event will now take place in the beautiful Covered Bridge Park. Residents and visitors alike can expect a warm and inviting atmosphere as they gather to celebrate this special time of year.
