“I was born and raised in Kingsport. The Tri-Cities are my home,” Bates expressed. “I’ve had ties to Bristol and Johnson City over the years, and we’re just looking forward to serving the Tri-Cities community in general.”

Bates hopes that the imminent opening of the Bristol casino will further help boost the local economy and believes that the arrival of Eggs Up Grill in the vicinity will only enhance the overall experience for both locals and visitors.

“You can get breakfast at two o’clock in the afternoon, or you can get a hamburger at six in the morning,” Bates said.
