An Evening with a Country Music Icon

Dallas Wayne, known not just as a singer-songwriter but also as a radio personality on SiriusXM, expresses his excitement about this upcoming performance. “I’m looking forward to playing the Down Home, a legendary listening room in the Tri-Cities; an area I’m happy to call home these days,” he said. For Dallas, who spends most of his weekdays behind the microphone, performing live is a refreshing change. “It’s a real treat to share my songs and stories with music lovers, and have the opportunity to meet our Willie’s Roadhouse and Outlaw Country radio listeners in person,” he added.

Fresh Tunes from Coldwater, Tennessee

During the concert, Dallas Wayne will likely showcase tracks from his latest album titled Coldwater, Tennessee. Released under the BFD/Audium Nashville label and distributed via Sony Orchard, this album features a collection of original songs. The album was produced by the renowned Buddy Cannon and includes collaborations with his longtime friend and co-writer Robbie Fulks.

One standout track you can look forward to is the poignant ballad He Even Brought Her Flowers, which Dallas co-wrote alongside Hall of Fame songwriters Buddy Cannon and Whisperin’ Bill Anderson. With such strong songwriting roots and emotional storytelling, attendees are in for a real treat!

Dallas Wayne’s career has spanned decades, taking him from various stages across North America to Europe. His distinctive vocal style was honed in the bustling music scene of Nashville, leading to the release of an impressive 13 albums of his own. He has also participated in various compilation and band projects, making appearances with acts like Heybale and The TwangBangers. Notably, he contributed to a Grammy-nominated bluegrass album by Special Consensus.
