Preschool Storytime, scheduled for Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., encourages children ages 3-5 to cultivate their love for stories. Parents or caregivers are welcome to join in this delightful event held in the library’s auditorium. No registration is required but space is limited.

The ongoing month-long The Hundred Acre Wood program, themed around the classic character Winnie the Pooh, continues this Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Glen Bruce Park. Children get to enjoy a picnic with Pooh and his friends, engaging in various crafts and games.

Lapsit Storytime, aimed at newborns through 24 months and their guardians, will be hosted in the library’s auditorium on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Meanwhile, the Time for Two’s Storytime, for children aged 2-3, will commence on the same day at 10:30 a.m.

Events for Teens

Teenagers in grades 6th-12th are invited to join the Teen Art Studio on Thursday at 4 p.m. Held in the library auditorium, it provides an opportunity for young art enthusiasts to explore their talents, learn new techniques, and connect with other artists.

Programs for Adults

Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. delivers Anime Craft Night for the adult attendees, offering a blend of games, crafts, and anime. The featured animes to watch are “Your Lie in April” and “Revolutionary Girl Utena”, and the crafts will be music-themed buttons and origami roses.

For those intrigued by their family lineage, the library hosts the Genealogy Club on Wednesday at 2 p.m. The program presents a platform for discussions and research support into family histories. Open to all ages and experience levels, it requires no registration or library card.

On Saturday, May 4, at 10 a.m., the library provides a unique opportunity for people with a knack for fiber craft. Whether you enjoy crochet, knitting, or cross-stitch, bring along your current project and join like-minded individuals for a shared crafting session.

The library is rounding up the week with a special Bridgerton Garden Party on Saturday at 2 p.m., in honor of the season 3 premiere of “Bridgerton”. The event features regency era crafts like fan making and silhouette portraiture, games of croquet on Glen Bruce Park lawn, and a delightful array of tea refreshments.
