As part of the support, the Kingsport Aquatic Center boasts a total of 4 family restrooms, 8 men’s showers, and 7 women’s showers available for public use. Meanwhile, the YMCA provides access to 14 shower stalls.

More Than Just Showers

In addition to the shower facilities, both locations offer phone charging stations to help community members stay connected during this challenging time. There are also water bottle refill stations, ensuring everyone has access to clean drinking water. It’s a thoughtful touch that highlights the commitment of these centers to support the community.

So, when can you visit? The Kingsport Aquatic Center is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.. For those heading to the YMCA, their doors are open Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.. This variety in hours provides flexibility for those needing some relief after a tough week.
