This Sunday, November 2, First Presbyterian Church will be holding its worship service both online and live at 11 a.m.. The Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt will be delivering a sermon titled “Turning Off the Noise,” drawing inspiration from Hebrews 10:23-25. This thought-provoking message aims to encourage attendees to focus on faith and community, reminding everyone of the importance of gathering together.

For those looking to meditate and reflect, the church offers a meditation session every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.. Not only is First Christian a place of worship, but it also runs a much-needed food pantry. For families or individuals in need of assistance, the church is ready to help. Zion Baptist Church: A Night of Music and Prayer

Over at Zion Baptist Church, located at 1982 Gap Creek Road, musical talent will shine on November 3. The church will host the Stones River Bluegrass Gospel group from Murfreesboro during the 6 p.m. worship service. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy uplifting gospel music while fellowshipping with others.

On Monday, November 4, the church will also hold a special prayer service at 11 a.m. to pray for the upcoming election and our nation. Following the service, congregants and guests are invited to enjoy a light lunch in the church fellowship hall. Pastor Dr. D. Alan King encourages everyone to come out, share in prayer, and partake in good food.

Faith Free Will Baptist: An Evening of Song

For those who enjoy uplifting music, Faith Free Will Baptist Church is the place to be on Sunday. They will be featuring the Edwards Family for a night of special singing at 6 p.m.. Located at 25 Veterans Way, Johnson City, the church, under the guidance of Pastor Rev. Randy English, fosters a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for all music lovers.
