Bristol Celebrates Future Ready Students at Tennessee High School

In the heart of Bristol, Tennessee, a vibrant event unfolded last Friday morning, shining a spotlight on the ambitious students at Tennessee High School preparing to venture into the world of work. The school hosted a special gathering known as the Future Ready: Work-Based Learning Celebration, where the achievements of students and the supportive roles of local industries were celebrated in a most joyful atmosphere.

Empowering Students Through Work-Based Learning

This celebratory event was all about recognizing the incredible potential of young minds as they take crucial steps towards their futures. Many students participated in programs such as the Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Pharmacy Technician.   • Austin Eades (apprenticeship) and Phillip Cox (pre-apprenticeship) – The Robinette Company
  • Garrett Jones (apprenticeship) – JA Street & Associates
  • Tyler Rought (pre-apprenticeship) – Turtleson
  • Ashley Quales, Bella Frye, and Laci Kerns – Ballad Health
  • Makenna Hyskell (pre-apprenticeship) – Bristol Tennessee City Schools

The local businesses involved extend far beyond just these names, encompassing a variety of sectors, including Believe in Bristol, Bristol Motor Speedway, Walgreens, and many more, each eager to support the next generation of workers.
