BRISTOL, Va. — In a thrilling musical moment, three local artists have united to create a truly unique song, and you can witness its debut this evening. K.T. Vandyke, Daniel Davis, and Jenna Greene have collaborated to produce an original piece of music right here in the heart of Bristol. What’s more, they wrote the song all in just one day!
The project is a part of a fascinating documentary series that shines a spotlight on Appalachian heritage. These incredibly talented musicians gathered at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum to work on their song. Now, they’re ready to present their creation to the public at the Session’s Hotel. The performance promises to be a remarkable event, celebrating both the rich musical culture of the region and the spontaneity of artistic creation.
We had a chance to speak with the documentary’s director, who couldn’t contain his excitement about the venue and the overall vibe of the project. “There was no better place for this challenge than Bristol. Bristol is such a cool place, we love Bristol and we’re so happy that the Session’s Hotel, the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, and Explore Bristol have helped us with this,” he said.
He urged locals to come out and support the performance, emphasizing the importance of community involvement for local music initiatives. “We hope the people come out and support their local musicians. It’s important for the community to support local music and all the things that are happening in your community,” added the co-founder of the documentary series, Ryan Jones.
The performance is scheduled for August 23rd at the Session’s Hotel, with the show kicking off at 6:30 pm and wrapping up by 10 pm. It’s an excellent opportunity to experience something new and support homegrown talent in the process.
Bristol’s incredible connection to country music makes it the perfect backdrop for such an inspiring project. Often celebrated as the “Birthplace of Country Music,” Bristol has always had a deep-rooted affection for music and the arts. This event encapsulates that spirit beautifully, showcasing local talent in a truly original way.
If you’re a music lover or someone who appreciates the heritage of this picturesque town, you won’t want to miss this event. The live performance promises to be more than just a concert; it’s a celebration of creativity, community, and the rich cultural landscape that Bristol has to offer.
Tickets are available at the Session’s Hotel and are expected to sell out fast. So, mark your calendars and get ready for an evening of fantastic music, created and performed by three of Bristol’s own rising stars. Let’s come together as a community to support and cherish the musical heartbeat of our town.
Stay tuned for more updates on future events and performances. For now, don’t forget to show up at the Session’s Hotel tonight. Remember, your support can make a world of difference to our local artists and the cultural richness of Bristol.
