He also holds an undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University. This impressive educational background is further complemented by his membership in professional organizations like the American Academy of Family Practice and the Tennessee Medical Association.

Dr. Collins’s journey into healthcare was inspired by his mother, a nurse. “Some of my earliest memories were looking through the pictures of her nursing school books on various diseases,” he recalls with a smile. This early exposure to healthcare undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping his passion for medicine.
