In a heartwarming display of support for local businesses, Bristol, Virginia is about to witness a delightful new addition to its roster of eateries. The calming aroma of freshly brewed coffee coupled with the charm of old town Bristol will soon play host to the new Big Bad Wolf Coffee House, launching on Friday. Occupying a prime spot at 2020 Euclid Ave, Bristol, the coffee house is adding an exciting twist to the coffee culture in town.
Big Bad Wolf Coffee House isn’t your regular coffee joint, offering a creative mix of beverages to cater to non-coffee drinkers as well. Beyond the perfect lattes, creamy macchiatos, or intense cold brews, patrons can also enjoy refreshing lemonades, energy drinks, and the increasingly popular homemade tiramisu. But the innovation doesn’t stop at the menu.
Owners Travis and Erica have devised an ingenious plan to take your typical coffee house experience up a notch. The info-entrepreneurial couple also own a barbershop right next door. So customers can sample a delicious drink as they wait their turn for a professional haircut. According to Erica Swiney, this concept creates an enticing environment for their clients. She stated, “It’s pretty good for us because we have pretty long wait times usually so while people are out there waiting they can enjoy TV and grab a cup of coffee and a snack.”
Aiming to cater to the modern-day culture of remote working and digital nomadism, the coffee house also includes an office area downstairs. This thoughtful feature allows patrons who work from home to get a change of scenery by setting up shop in the coffee house for a few hours.
Big Bad Wolf Coffee House also showcases a sense of community spirit. They’ve installed a ‘blessing board’ on the wall, wherein anyone can purchase a cup of coffee that will be gifted to somebody else in the future. A small, sweet gesture steps towards fostering compassion and goodwill among the community patrons.
The Big Bad Wolf Coffee House will start pouring cups of joy from this Friday. Regular opening hours will be from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays.
As town buzzes with anticipation for this opening, there’s no doubt that the Big Bad Wolf Coffee House is sure to become a cherished local hub in Bristol, Virginia.
