The Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion takes place in Bristol, Tennessee/Historic Virginia’s Downtown. Along nearby State Street and neighboring side streets, there are a variety of independent shops, art galleries, and restaurants worth visiting to complement your visit to the Festival – all within walking distance of the museum.

At 20 6th Street in Downtown Bristol, Believe in Bristol, our city’s Main Street group, serves as a welcome center. They have brochures and information on downtown attractions and businesses, as well as three self-guided downtown walking tours: Bristol history, Art in Public Places (public sculpture), and the Caterpillar Crawl (for families). They also have brochures and information on regional destinations and organizations.

The three-day music festival is held in Historic Downtown Bristol and features around 100 acts of live music on more than a dozen outdoor stages and indoor venues, including Americana, country, old-time, bluegrass, rock, Piedmont blues, Celtic, and more.

The Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion music festival is a thrilling musical experience featuring the best roots music. The three-day music festival is held in September in historic downtown Bristol, Tennessee/Virginia, and is geared toward Appalachia’s past, present, and future. The Festival reaches deep into the roots of Appalachian music and raises its branches to new heights. It all takes place in the heart of the Country Music Capital of the World.

This event is open to the public and is free to attend. During the show, you may support live comedy by purchasing snacks, beer, or soda.

Each performer is allotted 5 minutes on stage. Whether it’s your first time on stage or you’re a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome. Here in the Tri-Cities, we try our hardest to foster an inclusive comedy community.

Live music will be performed at the historic Cascade Draft House. Julie Williams is a bluegrass, old-time, Celtic, country, gospel, folk, and classic rock singer/songwriter from Carter County, Tennessee. Julie performs renditions of great songs that you can sing along to, as well as her own original music that you will like! Willie Melton, a multi-talented guitarist and vocalist, is constantly with her! You will not want to miss this show!

The Brewhouse provides a cozy atmosphere in which to enjoy your favorite band. While sipping a cold one, watch our brewers at work.

This event is completely free, and no tickets are required to attend. The Brewhouse is in the resort village, next to the fire station.
