It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the sudden passing of Isaac Lee Duncan, a cherished young man who graduated from Abingdon High School. Isaac, only 19 years old, unexpectedly left this world on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. His vibrant personality and love for life touched so many during his short time with us.
A Life Full of Passion and Adventure
Isaac was not just a recent high school graduate; he was also deeply engaged in the community and was employed at Wallace Collision Center. Known for his friendly smile and can-do attitude, he made a positive impression on everyone he met. He had an incredible passion for the great outdoors, often spending his free time hunting, fishing, farming, and snowboarding. His adventurous spirit was infectious, and he inspired many of his friends to share in these activities.
A Loving Family
Isaac was the beloved son of Jason Duncan and his wife, Shelley. He had a special bond with his brother, Jared Moulse, and his fiancée, Kara Proffitt. The family has endured great sadness; Isaac is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Larry, Sr. and Gloria Moulse, along with his aunt, Stephanie Duncan. However, his warmth continues to shine through the love and support of his family.
Isaac is survived by numerous family members including his grandmother, Gina Duncan, and his grandfather, Steve Duncan, with his wife Terry. He also leaves behind a dedicated group of step-brothers, Devon Wade and Grant Walker, as well as various uncles, aunts, cousins, and a close-knit circle of friends who will miss him deeply.
Memorial Services to Honor Isaac
The community is invited to come together in remembrance of Isaac. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Shannon Smith will officiate the ceremony, guiding those in attendance as they share memories and find comfort in one another’s presence.
Following the service, family and friends will have the opportunity to visit with Isaac’s family. Connecting with those who knew and loved him will surely bring solace during this difficult time.
