Harmon Park Reopens After Hurricane Helene Wreaks Havoc!

Hey there, Elizabethton! We have some exciting news to share with you today. After a long wait and a lot of hard work, Harmon Park is officially back in business! For those who don’t know, this beloved spot is located right next to the old train along Highway 19E, and it’s one of the community’s favorite hangout spots.

As many of you remember, Hurricane Helene rolled through not too long ago and caused quite the mess, leaving Harmon Park in a state of disrepair. Trees were downed, pathways were damaged, and a whole lot of cleanup was needed. It was quite the sight, and not in a good way. But fear not! Our dedicated Parks and Recreation maintenance crews sprang into action.
