“That’s the number one thing that I heard from people on the ground,” Harshbarger stated. She emphasized that many residents were forced to travel as far as Johnson City just to access a signal. The flooded neighborhoods and collapsing roads complicated everything, while overflowing rivers and downed power lines added to the challenges. For many, reliable cell service felt like a distant dream until now.

The Starlink terminals were donated by Robby Starbuck, a dedicated conservative activist who recognized the need in these crisis-stricken areas.
