A Joint Preservation Awards Ceremony To Be Held on May 16
The historic cities of Bristol, Virginia, and Bristol, Tennessee, are preparing to host a joint awards ceremony. Slated for May 16 at 5:30 PM, this event takes place in recognition of National Preservation Month. The venue chosen for this prestigious event is the Bristol Train Station, located at 101 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Bristol, Virginia.
The Historic Preservation Award Committees from both cities have come together to pay tribute to and celebrate the commendable efforts individuals and organizations have made towards preserving and restoring Bristol’s historic homes and commercial buildings. These buildings, carrying immense historic value, are spread across the cities’ historic districts and the entire cityscape.
