Mark your calendars, the 25th annual Blue Plum Festival known for its explosion of color and culture is making a grand return to King Commons in downtown Johnson City.
Scheduled for June 7th and 8th, the heart of Johnson City is set to pulse with live music, a flurry of artists and craftspeople, culinary delights from food vendors, and an array of other diverse attractions for festival-goers to relish.
The event is set to kick off at 4pm and run until 10:30pm on the 7th of June, a Friday. It continues next day, June 8th, from 10am till 11pm, promising a heady cocktail of fun, frolic, and festivity stretching over two days.
In 2023, the festival had shifted its venue from the familiar Historic Downtown Johnson City to the refreshing green stretch of King Commons. The free music festival this year marks its second year at its new home and its 25th year in the city.
The Blue Plum Festival has stood as a symbol of unity, celebration and the rich heritage of Johnson City for the past quarter of a century. The anniversary edition of this local favorite is expected to draw an even bigger crowd as fans of music, culture, cuisine, and local artistry convene at King Commons to be a part of this beloved tradition.
