Town Awaits Excitement as 2024 Lakeside Concert Series Lineup Announced

Prepare for a joyous summer extravaganza as the scenic city of Johnson reveals the lineup for its much-anticipated 2024 Lakeside Concert Series. This annual event has become a fan favorite, drawing both locals and tourists who come together to witness an eclectic mix of the area’s top talent.

Summer Nights by the Lake

Known for its community-based approach, the Lakeside Concert Series aims at fostering and encouraging community spirit, promoting a sense of collective fun. “The Lakeside Concert Series is all about community fun, bringing people together to enjoy great music in a warm, welcoming atmosphere by the water,” emphasized Tayler Dixon, Parks and Recreation Community Engagement Manager.

An array of free family-friendly concerts will be taking place every Thursday in June from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The dreamy setting for this musical bliss is the Goulding Amphitheatre situated in the heart of Winged Deer Park, located at 199 Carroll Creek Road, Johnson City.

Concert-goers Tips

Avid music enthusiasts are advised to bring along blankets or folding chairs for comfortable sitting options. The venue offers aplenty facilities including seamless access, free parking, and a variety of food concessions, in addition to a playground for the little ones. To make the series more engaging, it will also feature a kid zone, food trucks, theme nights, exciting games, giveaways, and much more.

Lakeside Concert Series 2024 Highlights

The musical spectacle will commence on June 6, with the local band ‘From the Edge’ headlining the night. Here is the much-anticipated lineup for the month:

  • Thursday, June 20 — Mixtape 80s Tribute band
  • Thursday, June 27 — Nu-Blu
